Honduras 2008

To say that I have been a little busy these last few weeks is a huge understatement! However, as the saying goes....better late than never! In February, myself, Mom, Sister, and Brother-in-law travelled to Honduras, Central America. We travelled with a Medical Mission Team out of Indaniola, MS and now have a "new" mission family. There were 80 total team members ranging from young to old with skillsets ranging from specialized doctors to contruction workers. In the Medical-Dental clinic, we saw over 2,100 medical patients, 400 dental patients, and the pharmacy filled close to 13,000 Rx!! There were 201 profesions of faith. The 18th Rose-Woods Team church was completes in Los Chorros (completed with steel beams and bracings).

Below are a few pictures of our trip. But for the "full-experience" please come to Meadville United Methodist Church on April 6! I have pulled together all the pictures and created a slideshow. It will give you a much broader exposure and view of our trip.

Enjoy....

My Triage Partner...Mrs. Peggy

Even in Honduras, they know what De Colores means......

A typical "sink"...nothing more than a well with a concrete sink built at the side.
I don't know who took this picture, but it is one of my favorite from the trip.
The Sullivan Clan...

The entire Rose-Woods Team at the Mission Home in El Zamarano, Honduras.

Great pictures! Looking forward to the report and presentation from the mission team at church. Blessings to your family for representing us there.

The picture of the old lady in the window is my favorite too! She reminds me of Mrs. Katherine Jones. It's touching to see a family going out together representing Christ to a small portion of the world that longs for hope and love.
Love you!

I meant to put Mrs. Katherine Davis instead of Jones!

Love the pictures. Wish I could have been there. I love doing the mission trip that I got to do. Some day I'm going again. I know that everyone who met the Sullivan family was blessed!
