God doesn't give you the people you want, He gives you the people you NEED. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.
AMEN AND AMEN! We need to THANK GOD for ALL the people that come into our lives...good or bad they ARE who make us who we are...through Jesus!!! I would NEVER want to go back and change any person that came through my life, especially the bad ones...they have helped me be able to really appreciate the other people...to know how to treat others by treating them as I would have liked to have been treated. You need to do the Beth Moore study we just finished last night called "Stepping up".
So true. I know God has even taken people out of my life at times to teach me to rely more on Him. I've always been thankful that He is the friend who will never fail me or forsake me!
Oooh, this is a very profound quote. I am an avid "quote collector" and have a journal book full. Do you happen to know the author or did you write this one yourself? I'd love to "lift" it for my book. Great seeing you last weekend. I like the way you squeeze lots of life into a few days, love to try to do that myself as often as possible!
